Can I audit a class?

We are not ucrrently running in person classes, but you can take a free online mini-course: here.

How old do I have to be to take classes at Actorium?

To take classes at Actorium, you must be 18 years or older. If you have any questions, please email us at hello@actorium.ca.

I am interested in film and television acting. Are these classes for me?
Yes!
I am interested in working in theatre. Are these classes for me?
Yes!
Will these exercises be useful as an actor even before I start scene work?

You can apply the knowledge you gain into any scene or audition situation immediately. You will have gained an understanding of how to apply what you have learned at the Intro level.

I am an experienced actor. Which class(es) should I take?

We would love to help place you in a class. Please email us at hello@actorium.ca with your acting history and what you are hoping to gain from classes.

I have never acted before. Can I join a class?

Absolutely, we welcome all levels! Some of our best actors have come from a place of never having acted before. However, you must be over 18 to participate in our classes.

How many people are in each class?

There is a maximum of 14 people in each studio class. Online classes do not have a set limit with the exception of Dialogue, which has a limit of 12 people.

The class is full. Can I join a waitlist?

Yes, you can ask to be placed on a waitlist by emailing us at admin@actorium.ca.

Is there homework?

Studio Classes: There is no homework until you head into Scene Study.

Online Classes: All classes, with the exception of Dialogue, have varying levels of homework. If you have any questions, please email us at admin@actorium.ca.
